Looking to buy the best outdoor roller skate wheel on the market, then the Bont BPM (Beats per Minute) is your new best friend! It is the perfect wheel for those looking to skate outdoors or on slick surfaces.
The wheel provides amazing flex for a smoother ride as well as being super long-wearing. The urethane has a 78a durometer which reduces vibration on rough surfaces such as asphalt, sidewalk, and boardwalks.
The 62mm diameter provides a faster roll with more efficiency and retains consistent speed better, especially on rough surfaces. The 35mm width allows you to keep your maneuverability when skating with this softer, bigger roller skate wheel size. The product is made in the USA and sold in packs of 4.
The Bont BPM is the ideal outdoor roller skate wheel for everyone, whether you are a roller derby skater looking to cross-train on road, or a casual skater looking for some recreational, outdoor exercise to get your heart rate pumped up! The Bont ABEC 7 skate bearing has been extensively tested on elite roller derby skaters. When you are skating on your skate bearings, especially in plastic hub wheels, bearings can warp which slows them down. Thankfully, the Bont ABEC7 roller skate bearing is made from high strength steel which minimises this effect and keeps the shape of the bearing as round as possible which decreases rolling resistance at high speeds.
The double shields assist in keeping the dust and dirt out of the bearing. With exceptionally low rolling resistance and pre-lubricated with a light racing oil, you are competition-ready straight out of the box!
- Bearing Type: 608
- Dimension: 8x22x7
- Protection: ZZ
- Cage: SPCC 08F
- Quality: Bearing steel GCr15
- Ball complement: 7 pieces
- Ball Material: Steel
Pack of 16 pieces.
Are you looking to buy the best roller skate bearings on the market? The Bont ABEC 7 bearing has tighter tolerances than the ABEC 5 bearing making it a slightly faster skate bearing. Making a bearing faster includes a number of factors including the material it is made from, the tolerance between the ball and outer race, how round the balls are and the lubricant used. As these roller skate bearings were designed specifically for skating, we have taken all of these factors into consideration when designing our ABEC 7 roller skate bearing.
Is it better to have more or less balls in a skate bearing? We have found no difference in our testing. More balls spread the load but also cause more rolling resistance from having more balls. Having 7 or 9 balls does not seem to make any impact on the speed you can achieve while skating on the bearings.
